My name is Ethan Moon.

I have spent all of my life in and around southern BC, and currently reside in Vancouver 🇨🇦.

I like indie deck-building video games 🎮, books about books 📚 and mango-flavoured drinks 🥭.

Like many other people who started listening to birdsong during the pandemic, I caught the birding bug. (My first copy of Birds of British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest is wrinkled and tattered around the edges from being carried around during rainy mornings in search of my avian neighbours.)

I have become quite fond of gulls specifically, having built an iOS/Android app to share what I have learned so far.

I built this site to provide a centralized location to share what I am working on, from discussions on passerine moult to excerpts from eBird entries.
